Meat birds

🐔 Seasonal runs, small batches.

We brood meat birds in seasonal batches — usually Cornish Cross or a similar broiler — and run them on pasture. There are two ways to buy them:

Live birds

Pick them up live and process them yourself, or take them to your own processor. Good option if you're comfortable with the work or have a specific cutter you already work with.

Animal share / butcher delivery

Same model we use for sheep and pigs: you reserve birds, we deliver them to a licensed Texas processor, you call the processor directly to handle cuts and payment, and you pick them up vacuum-sealed and frozen.

Texas law allows small farms to sell on-farm processed chicken directly to customers in limited quantities. We may offer farm-processed birds in the future — reach out if that's something you're looking for and we'll let you know when it's available.

Live chicks

🐣 Day-old and started chicks.

We hatch and brood chicks in small batches and sell them when available. Great for backyard flocks, homesteaders looking to add laying hens, or anyone wanting to start from scratch with birds that have already had a good start.

  • · Day-old chicks and started pullets when available
  • · Mixed and straight-run — contact us for current availability
  • · On-farm pickup only
  • · Small batches — first come, first served

Availability varies by season. Reach out early if you're planning ahead — batches go fast.
